Description

If you have been affected by a Ford OTA (Over The Air) update, DO NOT attempt to reload your current Oz Tuning tune. Doing so could cause very undesired, inconvenient results. The PCM’s do not like to be backdated.

NOTE: If your programmer is locked, you will need to contact SCT Live Chat Support and get it unlocked before you can read the new strategy and flash any tunes. Use the following link and open the green chat in the bottom right corner. SCT Support.

NOTE: There is a possibility that your strategy may not be supported yet which will cause a delay in processing your tune. If that happens we will notify you of the steps to take.

To prevent the OTA updates from happening again disable Automatic Updates. This video explains how to do this.

On back of device or can be found in the “Device Info” menu on the device.

You will need to read the strategy connected to the PCM under the hood so that it’s the long strategy like PL3A-14C204-BMC. It will be under Vehicle Info.
