When we introduced our HD Cast Monoblock Wheel Program, we embarked on a journey to redefine off-road performance for everyday use through our unique design language and rigorous testing in extreme outdoor conditions. With the Traverse HD, we’re bringing our progressive technology to this iconic design including our revolutionary RockRing®, making it the perfect wheel for the hardcore trail seeker.

With the balance of form and function at our core, we set out to design a unique wheel that would enhance the off-road experience and withstand extreme outdoor conditions. Our rigorous on-vehicle testing on various surface and weather conditions has allowed us to examine the Traverse HD at different altitudes to reduce unsprung mass, lower rotational inertia, enhance cooling, disperse dirt, mud, sand, snow, and water, The Traverse HD is built for going further, doing more, and challenging yourself.

Overview

At Fifteen52 we like to do things differently, so as we began designing the Traverse HD, we explored new ways to approach the simulated beadlock often found on wheels in the off-road market. The result is our Rock Ring, a ring that runs around the circumference of the wheel lip and is CNC Machined with our signature Turbo Vanes. The Rock Ring still provides protection to keep the valve stem from being damaged on rocks and it adds rigidity to the bead for any potential hard hits that may come on the trail. The Turbo Vanes cut down on weight around the lip, where weight reduction matters most, and it provides room for water, snow, and sludge to run out rather than stay trapped as it does on many simulated beadlock applications.
