Omega X is the last tune you will ever need for your 2018-2020 F150 Coyote. No longer will you need to carry around your programmer "just in case". No more worrying about poor quality fuel. No more sacrificing economy for performance. NO MORE COMPROMISES!

Obviously, the flexibility of being able to use any fuel you choose, including E85 or any blend of E85 and gasoline, is a great feature. All of our customers enjoy the fact that they don’t need to change tunes if they need to tow or haul a load. However, one of the HUGE advantages that Omega has over all the other tunes is that we’ve taken the time to tune the COMPLETE operation range. We’ve adjusted the variable cam settings at part throttle, drive by wire settings to improve throttle response, transmission shift points and torque converter lock-up schedules to exactly match your particular gear and tire combination, and of course the increased power at full throttle. All of this comes together to make the most versatile, and most complete tune that is currently available for the 5.0 F150 and Omega X is the Evolution of Omega.

We know that trucks live many different lives, and things can change at a moments notice. So we've designed this tune to handle anything you can throw at it.

  • Want to use 87 octane for your daily commute? - Go for it!
  • Want to roast tires and chop down your ET at your local track? - Omega can handle that with flying colors!

What it is NOT: It is not a more aggressive tune. It is not going to be hard on the vehicle, neither does it have more risk of damage.

What it IS: It is further optimization of the proven original Omega tune. But it is not just improvements as you would think, but an evolution of Omega.

Key features:

  • Transmission logic and shift schedules are optimized.
    • Shift schedules are focused on the engines power band, not the conventional logic of shift points needing to be at specific vehicle speeds. This greatly improves the driving experience, and also the power band is used more efficiently.
  • Proven faster in testing through all combined optimizations.
    • More part throttle torque.
    • More low end torque & mid range.
    • Smooth linear throttle response.

The "Basic" Omega tune will cover most bolt-on modifications. Including: Boss or GT intake manifold, CAI, exhaust, long and short headers, aftermarket gears, and non-stock wheels and tires. More extensive modifications will require the Advanced version Omega tune.

Flashing this tune requires using the new TDN phone app or a Windows based laptop. (A Windows laptop is still required for KAM resets, speedo calibrations, and extensive datalogging. The app can only be used at this time for flashing tunes and diagnostics).

NOTE: You will need to wait for the RTD3 Interface to be able to read your stock file (tune).

RTD3 Interface:

* The latest generation of hardware from HP Tuners.
* Requires an Android or iOS device to flash tunes and a Windows 7-11 laptop for other features.
* Supports VCM Scanner, allowing end users all the normal VCM Scanner abilities like diagnostics, DTCs, logging and scanning.
* Read and Write only. (Does not support VCM Editor).

All tuning services are time-limited and will include 90 days of complementary datalog reviews and/or personalized adjustments to cover adjustments such as firmer/softer shifts, increased/decreased throttle response, etc. Changing or adding modifications to the vehicle that would require a tune adjustment would not be considered a "preference-based adjustment" and would not be covered by a complimentary update.

Should your tuning window expire for any of the above reasons, you will be asked to purchase a re-tune through the website to "reset" your tuning time period, at which point the customer will receive a new 90-day window for complimentary adjustments and datalog reviews.

    Just got the tune for my 19’…
    man, what a huge difference. The first stop was my local E85 station, what an absolute treat the truck is to drive now with the Omega tune. Once I’m able to stop giggling at how fun sport mode is I might try an efficiency run in normal.

    This is the first truck I’ve ever tuned, so I’m new to the experience. I did a lot of research and called a lot of places. Oz Tuning had everything I was looking for. It was a fairly simple install. The instructions on resetting the KAM were incomplete for a newbie such as myself, but a quick internet search steered me in the right direction. We are told that when the tune is still new that you will experience hard shifts as the transmission adapts, this is true… and it is also true that the shits are butter smooth after the re-learning process. One of the most notable things I’ve noticed is that when you’re accelerating at a moderate rate, the shifting logic keeps you in the power in a very satisfactory manner! The only odd thing that I’ve noticed is that when you punch it while you’re at speed (to pass a vehicle on the highway or something) and it downshifts, 5th gear seems to be a little lacking by comparison to the rest of the gears… its not a big deal and wouldn’t deter me from getting this tune again on another truck. All in all, I love this tune. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

    I purchased the Oz Omega X tune for my 2019 F150 5.0. The shifting now is smooth and crisp. Throttle response is immediate. Sport mode with E85 is killer!!!! I tow a 4 place bumper pull horse trailer and can’t wait to try that. As a warm up I just pulled a fully loaded 6×12 U-Haul from Michigan to Minnesota. The truck stayed right in the power band the entire time. Averaged 13 mpg and basically sat in 7-8 gear the majority of the the trip. So much nicer than shifting all over the place like it used to. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made for my vehicles!!!
