  • Drive (normal) Mode: Increased throttle response over stock. Removal of stock “skip shift” function in transmission logic. Slightly raised shift points at part throttle (similar to stock Sport mode), and raised WOT shift points. Shift firmness has been slightly increased similar to what is found in Sport mode of the 2018 Mustang GT.
  • Sport Mode: Further increased throttle response. Further raised part throttle and WOT shift points. Earlier closed throttle downshifts when braking. Torque converter lock up scheduling setup for increased engine braking when decelerating aggressively. Shift firmness has been designed to be crisp, quick, and clean. This mode is similar to Drag mode found in the 2018 Mustang GT. It is designed to be aggressive, and to provide the quickest shifts possible for maximum performance at the track or on the street.
  • Tow Mode: Shift scheduling and torque converter function will be optimized for each trucks specific gear/tire combo.

The "Basic" Omega tune will cover most bolt-on modifications. 

91/93 octane required. Sorry, you cannot run 87 on this tune.

HP Tuners only: MPVI2/2+/3, RTD/+/3 Interface required! MPVI2/2+/3 must use TDN for flashing tunes. Regular MPVI2’s and RTD’s are not compatible with iOS. Only the + (plus) or 3 models are. If you do not have an interface, click here for our complete package.

All tuning services are time-limited and will include 90 days of complementary datalog reviews and/or personalized adjustments to cover adjustments such as firmer/softer shifts, increased/decreased throttle response, etc. Changing or adding modifications to the vehicle that would require a tune adjustment would not be considered a "preference-based adjustment" and would not be covered by a complimentary update.

Should your tuning window expire for any of the above reasons, you will be asked to purchase a re-tune through the website to "reset" your tuning time period, at which point the customer will receive a new 90-day window for complimentary adjustments and datalog reviews.

    I highly recommend this tune. It will awaken the Ranger from good to great. You will not believe there is a 4cy under the hood.

    I participated in the tune R&D with Ken on my 2019 Ranger. We developed the tune with the complete AFE kit (intake, hot and cold pipes, downpipe), MBRP 304 stainless 3″ dump exhaust, and Turbosmart BOV. Ask about the Black Assault Ranger package 🙂 In stock form, 0-60mph is almost 8sec on 34’s (295/75-r17), 3.73 gear ratio and 4WD. With these components installed and the Omega tune, 0-60mph dropped to 4.9sec. Let that soak in. With an Icon Stage 5 suspension and OME +1.7″ leaves, my Ranger will outrun my built Raptor offroad.

    I think I’ve had this tune a couple weeks after it was released. 5 months or so later and 17k miles on this tune (22k on the truck total), a tire 2 inches taller than factory. And its been amazing. Ken really knows how to dial in the transmission. The drivability is my favorite part, with the adaptive tune being a close second. I DO like to give it the beans out of toll booths from va to NJ on occasion. Weee
